My name is Steve, and I am the owner and sole proprietor of New England Rod Works.

I built my first 6-weight fly rod more than 25 years ago and have since built numerous fly and bass rods for myself, family, and friends. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a passion for designing and building high-quality custom fishing rods tailored to the way anglers fish and the species they pursue.

As a lifelong outdoorsman, I understand the value of equipment you can depend on. My wife, son, and I spend countless hours enjoying the outdoors throughout New England, whether we’re deer hunting in New York, bass fishing in New Hampshire, or chasing trout in the streams and rivers of Franklin County here in Western Massachusetts. Those experiences help shape every rod I build.
